    Dirtdobber, we catch most fish trolling. The items in the picture are small planers that we use to spread the lines away from the boat. Orange runs right and Chartruse runs left. We caught all but one fish off the planers and had only one throw back for the day.

    thats what I thought they were, but I don't know anybody that uses them. Can you start a new thread on how you set them up, maybe a pic or two. I have no idea how they work, but from your pic it appears they do. Good pic.

    Trolled this one up on Percy Priest on Saturday. I didn't weigh it but it went 16 inches.

    greatthosu.... That is a 18.25...good fish. thats one fat fish.

    But if you use Uncle Dave's tape measure system thats 21 inch fish.

    here he goes again, calling people out. Lets see those 17 3lbers you were talking about...hehehe

    I caught a few that big in river beds around here. Caught one at reelfoot that was over 2 1/2lbs but it wasnt as long. Man I hope i catch some bigguns this year. I think i will take my camera always and just release the big ones like that!

    Hey Dirtdobber nice fish. I hope you got that fish mounted. My wife caught one like that about 20 years ago. I am starting wish I had it mounted since she has never let me forget that I didn't.
