It can be tough to get on fish when the water level swings that much. This week on the main channel they are running some swift current by the look of the buoys I saw when I went over the bridge
Went to Chickamauga for first time last week arrived Monday and left this past Monday night.
when I arrived it was hot and water was about 82. Fishing was slow for me not having been there before
it rained five days in row. The lake was lowered a few feet and then raised back up with rain and flood on Saturday. Saturday was best fish day I got five bass and lost ten most were from shore in campground
Fish then seemed to move back out to lake after that good day
I did manage one small crappie on another day but fish I marked on live scope were not very active. I also got a few blue gills but all were small but one
The bass seemed to cooperate but I had a couple days with nothing
my last fish on last day Monday when it did jot rain was my only smallmouth
I mangaged to get all three types of bass

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Tough conditions but your weren't skunked. Good job.
