    Default Chick 2/19/23


    Got out and his afternoon for an hour and was able to catch 3 keepers. All fish were caught on in 8-10 feet of water on a bison trout magnet and 1/32 chartreuse jig heads. Saw lots of suspended fish but the wind was too strong to fish open water for me. Was lucky enough to find a spot out of the wind for a few minutes with shad around to get what I got. Water temp was 51-54 degrees this afternoon.

    It was a great day for deck surfing. Had a cruiser come by throwing rollers. Took some fancy footwork to stay on the deck and not in the drink

    I wonder if a seat beat would help with that situation It happens to me a lot on the Chick.
