Local forecast says rain out by 9 am. I will be working most of the morning on Saturday. From experience the ramp is usually very busy mornings and the lot fills up fast. I am hoping to be available around 2 pm to fish and chat myself. thinking of fishing the bridge at Armstrong road. Hope to get the chance to meet some folk from here.

Mr. Dan is a tad under the weather and will not be able to make it. We have discussed rescheduling for the last part of April. I really dropped the ball on this one. I have changed jobs (which will give me a lot more time off to fish in the future). They should be shallow and starting to spawn toward the end of April

Well I finally got to be back to this thread. I guess if you can't fish you can talk about it! . While I was hoping up to the last minute I would be able to do something, it was determined by my health advisor that getting completely well was more important. I always says "God knows best." So if all you good folk would be so kind and gracious to help DSJ to maybe get this wonderful idea finalized and put in place it would be a wonderful thing. Throw out places, dates, and other essentials to get this going. I know growing pains are to be expected but in my short time here on CDC I have realized it is full of knowledgeable folk willing to help and teach. (enough smooze? ) I am putting forth the dates of April 22 or 29. Holly Park or Chester Frost area. (There are covered areas around Chester Frost that can be used.) remember this is a planning time so all suggestions are welcome. Let's make this happen my friends.

In an effort to assist DSJ on this I am going to post this. I hope I am not overstepping. I am proposing to have our little meet and fish at Holly Park on Saturday April 29. Now my friends I have no experience in these things so any and all suggestions and ideas are very welcome. A time still needs to be determined. As of today I do not have a weather forecast. As we all know the weather changes as fast as, well you know! April 22 is also a possible date. DSJ has pulled pork for this event. I am unsure of how to organize any more volunteers for other refreshments. Knowing how many may attend could be very important as I am thinking of something similar to the "Homecoming" style of things where everyone brings something to contribute. It may be we just get together and visit and fish. Bring your own lunch or something similar. remember these are just suggestion and everyone's input is welcome. Personally, I believe in the KISS method of doing things, "Keep it simple stupid" Now go out and play in your boat!
