Default Things are heating up A little on the Hiwassee and the CHICK

Heard from several with good reports around B&B area down to the agency creek area. Most doing one pole jiggiing while trolling in bay area. Water temps been between 45 degrees and 51 degrees. Color mildly stained. Water seems to be about 2 ft below winter pool in some places. Finding most fish in 9 to 12 ft hugging the bottom. caught white fish up river and blacks more down toward the dam. 1/16 jigs with charlie brewer and bobby garland plastic are leading the way. Be ready to see a big showing by small yellow bass, strip, and small rockfish. a little of a pain but it makes the day go by. Bring a big lunch you will be entertained at ever stop. Stay away from the watts bar tail water. there is a massive walleye/ sauger spawn going on and they are pack and ramp, parking lot and any where you can find a pull off. One story of parking clear back out next to the river road. Well there's all I know. Tenn Crappie . Chatt Crappie club monthly tournament this Sunday if you'd like to compete check them out on F-Book. Their good folks

Thanks for the report. Just my luck to, I will be out for a while to have surgery. . But I should be back at it in a few weeks, so any and all reports on the Chick will be appreciated. Good fishing all

Thanks for the report. Had heard they were doing good around B&B. Pretty sure the water is mighty skinny at the Hwy 58 launch
