They certainly had it drawn down over this way last year. I found the end of the ramp on lots of occasions. Had to watch for it.
Heard the Corp of Engineers is going to be dropping lake levels below normal winter lake levels to help get water to the Mississippi. I'm assuming this would be Cumberland and Tennessee river systems. Currently, barges are not being loaded to full capacity due to the low river water levels. Check the current lake levels on the Corp web site so you don't tear up a lower unit or prop. There are some rumors out there that a lot of ramps will be high and dry and possible the bottoms in Paris won't have water this year for duck hunting. Not that I do a lot of duck hunting but winter is my favorite time for crappie fishing.
Have a good one!

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I know there was some meeting early in the week to discuss options but hadn’t heard an official answer. I will have to start watching the lake elevation forecast closer. I do know this is not the first time these two rivers have been used to supply water for the Mississippi River.
Lower Mississippi River would be four feet less mighty without Twin Rivers > Nashville District > News Stories
This shows this year and the last two years in chart form.
