Took my grandson Eli fishing yesterday morning on Priest, the day started out a little slow which is not good with a 9 year old who has WAY to much energy. We burned about a hour at the first location without a bite, we motored over to #2 choice spot and there we caught the first keeper before we had half our lines out. We went another15 minutes before we picked up a couple shorts, one after the other. To this point all our bites came on the Pico Gezzer clown pulled 80' behind the boat. We voted and the unanimous results was to swap out all the lines to Gezzer Clown. I worked the point for another hour before the winds ran us off. We put 8 nice keepers (2 - 14" with another one at 13.5", it would have been a good basket to weigh in in a tournament) in the boat along with catching 3 nice cats that went back. We went to a spot out of the wind and didn't have a bump for 30 minutes when the big question hit, "papa can we go to the marina for lunch?" which we did. We pulled cranks around Hong Kong island area, best speed was 1.6 mph and I kept the boat in 14 to 18 fow. The cats came when I got a little shallow.

Good luck to all!
