Those are some nice ones. Thanks for sharing.
I met my BIL and nephew at Watts Bar lake this morning for a couple of hours of fishing. We got sprinkled on a couple of times but not enough to get out the rain suits. What we lacked in numbers, we more than made up for with quality white crappie.
I landed the first 3 fish, 13.25”, 14.5/8”, 13.75” white crappie. Christopher caught a nice 11” white crappie. The fish just turned off as quickly as they started up. We still had a lot of fish on the graph, but they refused our offerings. We must have caught the dumb ones first and the others smartened up after we took Ethel and Fred out of the school. Lots of baitfish moving in that cove and the crappie seemed to be following the bait around in circles.
We caught our fish on Blue/chartreuse baby Shad lures and Blue grass color. Leon was in the middle with the skunk. Grin. The fish were 19 feet deep.
Nice catches
