devils step is a good ramp for putting in(just a little steep this time of year)there is plenty of deep docks close to the ramp as well as all around the lake,make sure to fish blowdowns also.enjoy your trip

Went today put in at devil's step caught 1 big crappie 3 strip I didn't like the boat houses on this lake tough fishing

Yes fished alot of floating piers there's not 1 dock on Tim's ford that isn't floating couldn't find any fish probably my last trip to Tim's ford I will stick to guntersville lake

floating docks are a lot different that stationary. come back when the sun is shining and shoot in the darkest spot under dock. If you come back PM me and i will try to help you.
