Default I invited a few home for supper

It was a steady bite all morning. The fog was thick as pea soup as they say. They were slamming the jig with authority early on. I could hear the thump coming from the rod. Water was way down and still falling. I found fish on 3 docks. All had 8 feet of water at the front end. Fish were tight to cover. These docks had brush under them. If your jig wasn't ticking the brush you weren't getting bit. Color didn't seem to matter to them as long as it had a thin profile. 2.5 Gulp minnows in smelt color, Bobby Garland Blue Ice and Bobby Garland baby shad in Meteor were the colors I used. They would turn cold on a color after a fish or two. Changing to a different color would wake them back up. Lost count somewhere around 20. Left with 7 crappie between 10.5 and 12 inches and 2 Goggle eye to make it onto the smoker this afternoon Name: 20211024_125145.jpg

    Lucky Duck! Good haul.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

It would be a long drive down. It was foggy enough this morning I was wishing for a fog horn. It couldn't get out of the main channel and into the back waters quick enough for me

    Great catch DSJ.
Hope to still get down there this year.
Buddies just got back from Watts Bar a few days ago. They were only bass fishing and didn’t do much for the week.
Be safe out there in the fog.
    Chuck.
