It has been extremely low lately. Lower than I remember in previous years. Makes to pier built docks easier to shoot under. You can troll the boat under and just vertical jig them fish. Sure don't want to drop the wheels off the end of the ramp. That can be rough

The Hummingbird Fish Smart app is good to have if you don't have a map card for your fish finder. If I remember right it's $10 for the map of Chick. I know it has saved me a few times in the winter before I got a map card.

I run the small Lowrance I have on split screen. Half chart and half depth. It will let you know when you are getting shallow

I have a small lowrance also. Gen 2 x4. I don’t know if it does splits screen. Wax given to me and I haven’t spent a lot of time learning it yet. I do know you can set alarms. May be something I will look into. I have been in and out of Chester Frost in low water before. I was just not paying attention last time. My bad. But i was going very slow so no damage. Thanks for the idea on split screen

That looks bad. Now is the time to clean out any sediment that has built up.

It has been fluctuating a foot or so lately. Easier to find the fish. They have a lot less lake to hide in .
