    TFWC SETS 2022-24 SPORT FISH
    REGULATIONS AT OCTOBER MEETING

    HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. --- The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission set the 2022-24 sport fish regulations at its October two-day meeting which concluded Friday at Lone Oaks Farm.
    Several changes were made to sport fish regulations. A few major changes include the addition of a 10-inch minimum length limit for crappie on Reelfoot Lake,

    I thought all of Tennessee had a 10" minimum length

    I'm with you, I have never known anywhere in TN to not have a 10" minimum.

    There are several lakes that do not have a length limit at all. Look in the TWRA Regulations under exceptions. The river runs along the Mississippi I used to fish as a kid have a 50 fish no length limit. That will tell you how great those fisheries are.

    I had no idea. I have fished Reelfoot for the last 3 years and used the 10 inch rule. Thought that was the law, but I guess not. Good info
