glad yaw got to get out and enjoy a bit of the day !
fun time catching for sure !
Got out for a couple of hours tonight with my daughter and the puppy. Started off fishing where we wouldn't have to fight all of the wake boats. Didn't have much luck in the first 45 minutes so we went to the shore so the dog and kid could play in the water until the boat traffic died down. We had about 30 minutes to fish without fighting all the boat traffic and it was productive. We ended up catching 16 crappie and a few bluegill. Had two that were right at 10" rest of them were about 9". All fish were released and no photos taken tonight. My daughter loved reeling in the fish. Bait of choice was a bison and millie trout magnet on 1/32 oz chartreuse crappie magnet jig. Was able to really try out the Varivas blue moon fluorocarbon line and the twich master line. Really like the blue moon line from a manageability and sensitivity standpoint. The twich master impressed as well for a nylon line. Can't go wrong with either one.

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
Fished the Blue Moon Friday and today as well. Once I got it strung up properly it performed well, gave a report over on the Panfish Board. I too found short Crappie to be the norm and water temps still in the 80s up here. Won’t be long though.

Thank you for reporting. About the same results I had. At least the fish are in the places we are looking for them
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
