Default Came up short on the docks

Shot docks this morning and caught 12. Largest was just shy of 10 inches by a quarter of an inch. Fog didn't burn off until around 10 am. Water was down almost 2 feet. It had been falling all night. Water temp was 73 degrees in tbe main river. 76 degrees in the back waters. Fish still preferring pier built docks. Found nothing under the pontoons or floating docks. Iused 2 colors of Bobby Garland jigs. Chartreuse and Bone white and the Blue Ice. Left when the wind made boat control impossible and the storm clouds where rolling in

There is the only one I photoed. It was in the checker showing it was close to legal size and it flopped out. The others went back in without photos trying to weed through to the 10 plus inch fish. Talked with several fishing for crappie with nothing but short fish. Ran into the Game Warden be said nobody was catching much

Keep at it, things are changing and soon you will be on the big devils. I imagine the leaves are starting to change for you by now.
Maybe they will bite this one……

10 inch minimum here. So all these were short/ throw backs. Still great to be on the water. Wasn't until lunch time until I saw a wake boat
