    Default Fished the night shift

Set up under a bridge in 30fow. Got there just before dark, set the light up and started throwing minnows. The would pull some water and then stop, this pull and stop cadence went on the entire time I was there. Found the fish around 10 feet down, they would bite when they would pull water. ( I guess it was from the lock operating). When the water would go slack so would the bite. Big fish of the night was a 17 ish inch largemouth. He gave that 4lbs Viscous hi vis a good stretching. Turned back 10 short crappie, the largemouth, I lost count on the white bass. Brought home 4 11 inch crappie for some po boys. . I will post photos below using the app.

Left around 2 am. I was surprised to have company. The boat next door said they usually did a lot better than they did tonight. Super nice couple. Had to compete with the full moon but there was plenty of bait drawn inName: 20210724_192829.jpg

Now you have made me hungry. Grin. Nice catch. It has been many moons since I last fished at night. It was fun when I was young, but a little spooky now.
