    Default Tennessee River help?

My son in law has invited his mother and I to come to the Tennessee river this weekend. Can anyone suggest where between Perryville and Clifton to go? We will start in the morning bass fishing then go to crickets. Any help would be appreciated. Also will have some crappie rods.

For what it's worth I just returned yesterday from Paris Landing. We had a large group and fished bass, crappie, and blue cats. The bass up there were not out on the breaks yet. Found a good concentration at the mouth of Big Sandy in what I thought was shallow water for this time of year. 2 to 6 feet. Monday I fished the main river for blue cats in 50 foot of water. I had never done that and had a blast. Some of the guys found some nice schools of crappies in Big Sandy. The crappie and bass are making a comeback ! Pulled 300 bandits for the crappie. Purples really worked. Cranks, jigs, worms, for the bass. If you get out early enough I bet buzzbaits and spooks would also work.
