Thread: gibson co. lake crappie

going to Gibson Co. Lake this saturday any tips or hotspots anyone want to share first time fishing this lake. thanks in advance

I'll give you what little bit of info I can. There are dozer piles that were placed before the lake was filled toward middle the of the lake. Its been a long time since Ive been out there so depending on water level, may not be able to see them. There are a few creek channels that run through there. Should be fairly easy to find with good graphs and if you look at some of the standing timber, you could probably see how they cut through the lake by the trees. One of them runs near the point you can see straight out from the ramp and another runs near the point directly looking right from the ramp. I know thats not too specific but I used to bass fish there a good bit so hope that gives you a little help.
