Good job!
fun times for sure!
congrats on a good time both trips! Thanks for sharing!
I fished the afternoons of 04/08 and 04/09. On 04/08 went straight to a spawning area (and fought the wind) - but caught 15 to 20 in a couple hours from 4ish to 6ish (did not plan on cleaning fish) - probably 1/2 would've been to short to keep and only one was over 12". On 04/09 started in the same general area as the day before and fished from 2:30 to 7:30 - kept 15 (have not cleaned any this year and wanted some fresh crappie) with several over 12" and one right at 13" and caught probably 10 to 15 more short fish. The females still had some eggs and the males had their tuxedos on. Water temps were low 60s. I seemed to do better (numbers and quality) in 5-8' of water. All caught on BGBS with 1/32oz jig heads with various colors - anything with Chartreuse seemed to be favored.
