Great job. The freezer basket for crappie will be full soon and you will have to switch to catching shellcrackers. I love the pictures and reports...keep them coming.
Candi had the day off and wanted to do her favorite way of fishing so I took her to the docks. She showed out again. Catching the most, the biggest, the smallest and left me with very little to do. Lolol.
I did have fun running the trolling motor and taking a couple of pics. But, it was a tough day for casting, but I’ll bet it was a banner day for trollers as they were everywhere. I don’t allow trolling in my boat. Lolol. I would have to beg RSimms to forgive me for teasing him so much about trolling.
We did catch 12 keepers and a bunch of short crappie. Candi even caught the only Skipjack, Warmouth bass, and Bluegill. She is a fishing machine and I taught her how to do it all. Grin.
Water temps ranged from 54 to start to 56 when we ended. At the height of the sun, I saw one brief temp of 58. Chartreuse colors were good early, but we hit upon a hot color in the afternoon that seemed best when fished on a 1/32 oz jig. Water was sandy brown color.
We didn’t take a pic of the biggest crappie. Wish that we had.
