Nice report and pictures! Good catch for a short time frame. Great weather and conditions report also!
In what may very well be my last crappie report of 2020, I took Biofisher to the lake out of Wolftever creek ramp and we intended to scout some and fish the rest of the time.
Flow-rate was 53,000 cfs, water surface temp was 47.8, and the wind from the north from 5-8 mph. It was mostly cloudy to partly cloudy and then sunny at the time that we stopped fishing. We fished from 10:15-2:00 pm.
We landed 10 keeper crappie and one keeper Largemouth bass and one Smallmouth bass that was 17.5”. The hot color today was Blue Dauber, Ghastly minnow, and Blue Ghost finally caught one or two fish late, just before we quit fishing. We caught more shorts than keeper crappie.
Dental appointment tomorrow and rain in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, so this may be the last report this year. I am eager to see what the first fish that I catch in 2021 will be. Anyone want to guess? It could be bluegill or a crappie. Lolol.
