We always called them "Dump Ducks".
IMA waiting on the seagulls to tell me where the bait fish are. Sometimes there are too many of them gulls. I have to wear my rain cover.

Wife and I were there last weekend, didn't see many gull, didn't catch many fish either. Had to find areas out of the wind, marked fish and saw lots of shad along the shores but they were lock jawed. May be up there next weekend for a little fishing and hunting for a lot to build on. Friend of ours have a cabin up there just down the road from you, Greg and Jody Evans from Gallatin, TN their son and his wife built a house along side his folks.
Have a great day,
Ray
