Nice try Drumking.....Thought I had heard all the fishin excuses in the world but yours takes the cake (or Krispy Kreme donut) ....I full well can sympathize with you because everyone knows she just keeps on thrashing you ...beating you to a pulp. Don't like admitting it but I highly suspect Candi would trounce you just as bad if you were just drinking a glass a water for breakfast...
I do have to respect your creativity on finding another excuse though....Nobody has to warn you you don't stand a chance against royalty...
Do please keep on enjoying taking a beating and fishin with Candi...You remind me that you're kinda the Rodney Dangerfield of the team.

Hey Snagged, I have more excuses than a dog has fleas. Lolol. I keep telling Candi that she is my best student and can really fish good on offshore structure and she always says, ‘It is because I do what you told me to do’, and she watches all the little subtle techniques that I use in trying to get a crappie to bite an artificial lure. The difference between her and a male student is that most men have their own preconceived notions about how to fish and ignore what I say if it doesn’t line up with what they believe about fishing. Hey Drumking,
Got to admit I am always looking for new excuses since I have used all the hundreds of the "standards" so many times. It entertains me greatly to get to read about the " Drumking x Cuonthelake fishin adventures"
as they are a great account of two friends enjoying their fishin time together. A great teacher and an astute student who has learned and refined her lessons very well.
Of course , I have told you before all your reports are second to none.I enjoy them all.
Your fishin , techniques , and waters are a bit different than mine here in Missouri. Unfortunately my fishing time has been greatly restricted due to life's circumstances. Have only fished 2 days in Mo. and 1 more in Sippi' this year. Danged sure looking forward to radically changing that here real soon .
"How's the fishing there?"....North , South , East , and West nationwide the fishin is absolutely wonderful for all . A pleasurable diversion from everyday normal activities.....We all owe the Crappie a debt of gratitude for their enjoyable pursuit ...
