We used to fish Reelfoot like kyfisherman said with the rods and and bobbers. Caught all the crappie we could handle.. we would just fish an area and then move to a new spot and throw them out again.

I've taken my old plywood Astroglass to Reelfoot, also seen bass boats there. Saw a Capps and Coleman video with them out there in a 21 foot bass boat. Just keep it at idle speed and you should be okay. As much rain as we've had I don't think this is going to be a low water October.
