Default Jay W, then Biofisher crappie fishing 7/06,07

A quick report of crappie fishing with two of my fishing buddies. Jay W and Gary, aka Biofisher. Both days we quit before 9:30 because of the heat and that is just how we roll in July and August.

jay and I had 16 keepers by 7:15, ended up with 17 and 3 bass. Gary and I face a much tougher crowd of fish this morning. But productive with 11 keepers and 2 keeping sized Blie catfish and we stopped fishing at 9:15 and put boat on trailer.

Water temp both days was 84 and 12,000 cfs current flow. The hot lure yesterday was a BG Threadfin baby Shad and today it was BG Minnow Mind’Rs in Lightning Bug and Monkey Milk.

We are past the full moon phase and can expect fewer bites in the coming days. That is okay..I need the rest.

Glad y'all got into them. Your reports always light a fire in us all to get out "amongst them".

Well that first feller looks a little fuzzy and the second seems more clean cut, but what do they both have common.... BIG smiles from fishing with the King and catching big slabs! Enjoyed the report as usual, may try an afternoon trip this week.

    DK,
Thanks for the trip. I had a great time as always, but the first hour of fishing/catching was a real memory maker. I love seeing those fish chow down on the willow flies like they were at first light. Thanks again for the line. I plan to try some out soon.

That made me laugh. The smile part I wouldn't change, but the hair part is another story. I'll have to say I am more than fuzzy. I am down right over grown in the hair department. You should see how much is under the cap. It's the most hair I have had since I was a rebellious teen in the 80's. I have needed a hair cut since March(Thanks Pandemic)! My late father was a barber from 1958-2012 when he passed. I used to get hair cuts all the time...sometimes because I wanted one and sometimes because he wanted me to have one. When my hair would get long he used to say I was growing a Michael Landon like on Little House. I really miss my dad, and I also miss his free quality haircuts and neck shaves. I wish I was clean cut as well.

    Here's a thought for you...green banana

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there is no one out to get you

I saw your vehicle in the WT parking lot the other morning, I had a late start. Thought I would run into you out, apparently you didn't hang around long, can't say that I blame you. I was out only for a couple hours myself. Early and or late is the ticket this time of the year...
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
