I use Lite Wire Hooks made by litewirehooker on the forum. I use Suffix Elite 6# mono along with them. I would say if your line is in good shape, no nicks or burr spots like you will get fishing brush piles and docks, at least 85% of the time I get my baits back when I get hung in a snag. You can improve this by using 6-8# braid. Good Fishing!
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.

BTW, I don’t like bending the hook down. Miss too many fish. I always open the gap up until the point of the hook is slightly above the eye of the hook. I buy Litewire hooks from Curtis Hobbs by the hundreds. Lolol. The old saying is, if you aren’t getting hung up, then you aren’t fishing properly. 8 lb braid wig Litewire hooks will enable you to retrieve most that get hung up in brush. Did I say that right, Curtis? Big Grin.

One tip with using that small thin braid is to cut a piece of mop stick to wrap the line around to help pull the jig loose. That thin line will cut you quick, just big enough to fit in your pocket.

and if you don't have a stick, a wrap around your rod handle will work too for freeing your line
