Hello all,
Last Saturday I was blessed to be able to fish with my son, Jacob and his friend, Ryan (he's unofficially adopted by us). We got an early start and enjoyed a great time on the water at Percy Priest trolling crank baits and jigs for the crappie. We got the first hit off of a point before we even got all of the lines out - it was a nice black crappie about 12 inches long. There were a few schools of willing crappie hanging around that point, so we just kept trolling around in an oval shape a few hundred yards wide with fairly steady action for the first couple of hours. At one point we had 3 crappie on at the same time - that was a good problem to have!
We ended up with 13 keepers in the live well.
