    Default Driving Miss Candi. 6/08/20

Cuonthelake and I got out early enough to get a beautiful sunrise type pic. The fish that we found were all deep and most offshore structure. Candi really showed out by spanking her mentor badly. Not only caught the most, but the biggest fish also as evidenced by the pic of the double that we caught. She had the big one. Grin.

We fished 3.5 hours and had 18 crappie, 13 of which were keepers. The bonus fish were small White bass and yellow bass. We both fished with 3/32 oz jigs because of the 32,000 cfs water flow in the main river where we spent the majority of our fishing time. We made one short trip to a slough to fish a couple of docks.

I was behind 7 fish to 2 when we made our last stop and sort of redeemed myself by catching the last 4 keepers. Final tally was Cuonthelake 7, DK 6. Cloudy with an occasional glimpse of sun with a north wind blowing. Very pleasant temps. Water temp was 79.3 in th River, 80 in Wolftever creek.

I got 5 keepers and one throw back crappie (and 1 small white). 2 of which are 14 inches. Didn't get started to mid-morning and everything was scattered. I noticed lots of debris in the water. Wind made it pretty tough to fish, I called it quits after about 3.5 hrs.
