    Default Off the dock

Finally got a few hours to fish yesterday. Been remodeling my house for the last 6 months. Blue skys, warm weather, and chaos boats running all over the lake. The bites were subtle but fast action. Blue 2 inch paddle tail kept catchin them consistently. Caught 30 with half keepers. One 1.91 lber and 5 others came home for dinner.

Good catch, glad to see a E TN report. I have been chasing the Bluegill past couple weeks, but will be back after the Specks in no time....like DK says....June!

The one biggin had eggs which she did not show otherwise I would have let her go. About half the others were done, but these docks always have a late spawn pattern. I guess being next to the main channel they wonder in and out of the docks as conditions change. Possibly being just off the main they find it an optimal shade and current area. Kinda of a prespawn sanctuary. What do you pros think?
