Weekly report. 4/17 and 4/19
I’m not quite ready to crappie fish yet but I will let everyone know that I am fine and fishing tailwaters.
Dr Phil and son, Jamie, went with me today, while Jay W fished with me up there on Friday. The flow rate Friday was 76,000 cfs and today TVA bumped it up to 84,000 cfs with the surface temp of 59.9 when we quit at 9:15 am.
The rain wasn’t supposed to start until 11 but started sprinkling at 9 so we checked radar and quickly put boat on the trailer and headed south before it rained very hard.
I drove the boat and kept it straight while the Gawthrops fished. At 8:30, Phil let me fish a few drifts before I wanted to go back to driving the boat. Grin. All of us caught a few fish including 2 walleyes and one White bass to go with 7 Stripers landed and a couple more pulled off.
