    Default Percy Priest Crappie

Hello all. I’ve been giving it a go at Percy. New lake for me. Trolling jigs/crank baits without much success. Mostly mid lake. Four corners, Bryant’s cove. I’ve marked a few brush piles but they don’t seem to be interested in jigs. Going to try minnows soon.

Coming from Reelfoot, this lake is obviously different. Learning a new lake is always a fun challenge.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I was thinking of heading up to Priest tomorrow. I wonder how bad its trashed up after all of the rain Sunday? It can be a productive lake, but I don't get to go enough to be consistent.

Speaking of Reelfoot, how is it doing? I haven't fished it in a couple of years but am considering a June or July trip up there for a little spider rigging.

thanks for the post on PP; I'm considering trying PP early summer after spawn is over on OH. I'm going to Reelfoot 28-2nd; can't wait! I love that lake so much; even though it often kicks our butts!
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...

I haven’t fished reelfoot in a few years. It’s like most lakes, some days you got it, most days you don’t!

I’ve had more success with live minnows than anything else since mid-March. Hitting different spots from Fate Sanders to Four Corners. Bryant Grove is normally a fairly productive area. Good luck!
