    Exclamation Governor's Stay at Home Order

    According to the Order, you are allowed to perform Essential Activities and Essential Travel to perform those activities. In the the Order, one of the Essential Activities is defined as:

    Engaging in outdoor activity, provided that persons the Health Guidelines tothe greatest extent practicable, including, but not limited to, driving or ridingin a vehicle, walking, hiking, running, biking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing,golf, tennis, or other sports or recreational activities that can be performed while maintaining the aforementioned precautions or utilizing public parks andoutdoor recreation areas; provided, however, that congregating or playing onplaygrounds presents a unique risk for the spread of COVID-19 and istherefore not covered as an Essential Activity;

    In other words, go fishing. Just adhere to the Health Guidelines, such as social distancing, hand washing, etc.

    This is my interpretation of the Executive Orders.

    DARN SKIPPY!

    Be socially responsible and go enjoy nature. I'll see less folks in the woods than I will at home.

    And on page 2 second paragraph of his order it plainly says this is not a mandate, just strongly urges Tennesseans to stay home. IMO means it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on. Name: IMG_2068.jpg

    I predict a closing of all boat ramps in the near future. I have been twice since this latest order, and one of the ramps was ridiculous. Young people, 30-40 of them gathering like at a party. I turned around and went to another ramp. The fisher people seem to be doing a good job of social distancing. So do the crappie!

    use common sense at all times and if your a bank or dock guy like me mostly it's all good. I am heading to my cabin in a county with 1 very mild case and no deaths and will be walking along rip rap and no one else will be near me if any. then heading to scout turkeys and with NO ONE around and then hit a private strip pit. I think I will be ok and so will the folks on this site. I never touch anything but my gear and the fish I take out on a normal day.
