Good deal, Mr S.
Started before sun up this morning, grabbed biscuits and coffee on the way. Knowing that ramps would be crowded, I used a less used, less known one. Headed up the river to where I left off yesterday and marked fish and caught one. Noticing the masses out deeper, I followed suit. Trolled around for several hours, caught several keepers and 3x as many short crappie and yellow bass. After the bite slowed, I thought, now where did they run off to? I opted to make a move and checked out a place just on whim. Turns out it was a spawning bank. Extracted a couple from there including one 14" swollen female. So I think I learned something today... All the boys' and girls' were released to procreate.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
Even windier here today than Saturday. Least you found a few more. Redbud winter coming, might slow down that spawning urge.
Mr. S thanked you for this post
