Very windy here today also. Saw lots boats in town, lakes will be packed tomorrow. Keep after them I think they are still in transition, but they will bite at some point in time.
No eye candy today, or from yesterday for that matter. Friday I fished up around Sequoia. Hit some known spawning sloughs checked shallows and the lead in creek channel. I came up with a ZERO. River was rolling and muddy. Temps were 52 to 62 deg. I did manage one dink in Dallas Bay, in about 13 fow. Water was stained and 62 deg.
Today was little better. Put in at Hiwassee, ran down to Grasshopper. Fish were few and far between. First dink came on a creek channel point, then of course you know I had to catch at least one white bass. The only keeper came on a blow down on a bluff about half way up the creek. Couple more shorts and I made a move. Leaving the creek I decided to check out a cut off the channel in the mouth of the creek, added one more. Made another move to Sale Creek and found fish in 25 fow on a bluff in a brush pile. No bites there, tried vertical jigging for those. No takers. It was a beautiful windy day. main lake had 2-3' rollers, man I hate those things.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6drumking LIKED above post
