Usually a clogged intake will set off alarm. Hope that’s all it is. Trash will do that during flooding.
Got out on Chick today and was scouting for some structure when I had an alarm on the motor. Shut the motor down and jumped up on the trolling motor. Wanted to salvage what I could of the trip. Ended up finding a few crappie. Had four keepers and and about 8 or 10 short fish. Crappie were found in 5-8 FOW. All fish were caught on chartreuse/white or charities crappie or trout magnet. I used 1/32 and 1/64 jig heads. I had 3 keepers on the trout magnet and one one the crappie magnet. Caught one drum as well. Will look at the motor tomorrow night. Hopefully nothing major.

Good catching there Sir.
I had a older Johnson GT, I was running down the river and my alarm went off. Come to find out my basically thermostats weren't opening up like they should, changed them out and problem solved.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
Looked at the boat tonight and it appears it was an issue with the float in the oil tank. Think I got it fixed tonight.
Thanks for sharing the report. Glad you got the motor problem figured out.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
