Default Long lining in the mud

Well, the lake is still pretty much mud after all this rain, but having the crappie virus, I had to give it a shot. Water temp was 46 where I started and things were real slow. I fished till I was about over the whole ordeal and was fixing to throw in the towel. By obervation, I noticed as I was getting closer to the main lake the water temp was rising. It rose up to 53 degrees and the bite rose with it as well. Well enough to get a limit before heading on in.

That's a quality mess of fish. Great job.

    I hate the wriggly lampreys.

    Good Job!
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

Freshwater Lamprey, more common than you think. Catch them in seines in the Rivers here in ETN quite often. The Nolichucky and Pigeon Rivers are prime areas to find them.
