Default 2 hr trip to check lake conditions 2/09/2020

Mr S texted me and said he as going to piddle around the lake for a couple of hours this afternoon, so I went with him. I never noticed the lake temp but the Chick is at summer level and visibility is 3-4” and is sandy brown n color.

I caught two nice crappie (13.25”) and my pet Drum and the fish were right against the bank and 2-4 feet deep. We were fishing an eddy on a bluff on the main river.

163,000 cfs and some debris in the river but not as much as I expected.

Plenty of water. I went across the river at Hwy 30 and a back water at Hwy 27 above Soddy Daisy the water was an odd blue green color.

I love Chick and the Dayton area.
Don’t know how you guys can live there.
I would be on the water every single minute of every single day. 2 hr trip to check lake conditions 2/09/20202 hr trip to check lake conditions 2/09/2020
We usually make the trip every spring and came down once in the fall.
    Always stay at Bluewater.

That's a couple of m8les from the house. As far as being on the water all the time. I work 26 weekends out of the year and most of the Holidays. Its the life of a Maintenance Tech. Cuts into the time I get to spend on the water.

Some people have moles tearing up their yards. I think Catfish and tearing up mone. Been way to wet for moles up here without miniature scuba suits

I live up next to Cumberland Gap, unbelievable how much water they had across the mountain in Middlesboro. Downtown under water last week now it's raining again. I had just got out before this all started in my new to me boat and caught a few at norris. Just enough to give me the fever.... Now I'm stuck until the water goes down. Norris almost full. Not much I can do but wait I guess.
