You're preachin' to the choir in my case, TC ... the lake I want to fish is 30ft high, the lake I would fish otherwise is 8ft high, and my "other option" lake is 14ft high (when they should all be at Winter Pool) And while there hasn't been a "drought" during the Summer (per se) ... it has been way too hot for this ole man to be out there for very long during the best crank/jig Pushing times of the Summer.

Was thinking same thing yesterday. Looks like it’s setting up for a repeat of last year minus the monumental snow and ice up north. Was watching a video on weather channel. Showed our part of the country with above average temps this whole month and plenty of moisture rolling in from the gulf. Those 2 mixed together equals a lot of rain agin this spring. Local lake ( Arcabutla ) jumped from winter pool to over summer pool in 48 hours and still going up. More heavy rain predicted this weekend.

Amen to the crazy weather fluctuations, especially in the winter as temperatures and precipitation both have been not normal the last couple years. Not retired yet, getting closer each year (T-3yrs. and counting) but do look forward to being able to take advantage of nice weather through the week.

The State of Tennessee is under there somewhere. Predicted rainfall through next week 2-3 inches over most of the state, more out west and north of us Who else seeing a pattern?
