    Default WB tailwater quick-trip, 12/23/19

After watching it rain for what seemed like the past week, decided a drive up to WB was in order as they finally decided to quit spilling water, and finally managed a day out of the plant. While the gates were closed, the current was still humming along at 46K+. Temp was 49* and wind was blowing out of the NNE (...which I hate). Because of the current, we did have to upsize our jigs/swim-baits to 1/2oz +. Did manage a few gorgeous toothy critters (+ a few line-scrapers that we decided to let swim) and some MONSTER White Bass. Was pleased to not have to fool with too many of DK's back-breaking pets, but did have 8 or so.

I’m going to be up there in the morning for a couple of hours or so. I would love to get some white bass and Walleyes. I wouldn’t mind fighting a Rockfish or two. Lolol. Nice catch on the toothy critters.

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
