Thread: Reelfoot lake Tips - November 11-22-2019

I am taking my two son-in-laws to Reelfoot this weekend, and would like them ot catch some fish. We were up there on labor Day Weekend of this year, and only managed a few catfish, but the boys did not catch anything.

It really doesn't matter what they catch, but would like for them to catch something. I am fairly new to fishing Reelfoot, and am looking for a few decent places. The lake is so big, it's tough to find decent places. We are staying at Boyette's, and have been typically putting in on the south side of the lake near Boyette's. I've fished crickets abd jogs along some of the south bank near the State Park, fished in Brewer's bar area, and a small area near the Walnut Road ramp in the Upper Basin.

Any tips or areas to try would be appreciated. I am not looking for anyone's "honey holes", just maybe a general area to start looking.
