Short trip is always better then no trip. Family first. Thanks for sharing. Great pics.
I thought that I had until 9 am to fish this morning, but it turned out to be just a little over and hour and a half.
First drift just before 7am, I hooked and landed a Striper. By the time that we took pics and ran back up to the dam, TVA had increased the flow from 15,000 to over 30,000 cfs.
We only caught one more Striper, a channel catfish and a nice White bass. I had a call from my son in law telling me that they were already in Vicksburg, Mississippi on the way to Bessemer, Alabama where we were to meet them for lunch and pick up my granddaughter who is going to visit with us for a few days. Probably until mid December. We are excited about that. But it cut our trip short.
It was cold with the north wind well over 15 mph and a 30 degree air temp. 63.4 water temp and lots of current.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Nice catch!
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
NICE! I know that wind was CHUNKING yesterday, had to have been comfy on the fingers
Good go for sure!
Did you go to Bright Star in Bessemer? Good grouper throats!!!
I'm shivering just thinking about 15 mph winds and temps in the 30"s that's wind chill of 25...

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
