Default KY Lake Asian Carp - Paris TN

FYI - KY Lake Asian Carp Fillets are for sale at Lakeway IGA in Paris, TN for $5.99 per lb

Processed and packaged by North American Caviar, also in Paris, TN

Thought I would mention it in case anyone wanted to try some for themselves.

It's delicious. I haven't tried the fish packaged by them, but had some at Crankfest of 18 and it was awesome.

I have heard varying reports on how it taste. I will have to find some and try for myself.

I haven't tried it. I get several in my boat, especially this time of year, and have contemplated taking one home and cutting a few chunks off of it to try, but I just can't get past the awful smell. I'm sure the fillets don't stink like the actual fish, but when one jumps in the boat it takes forever for the smell to finally wash away, especially if they get on the carpet.

I had a sample taste at the KY shindig several years back. I didn't spit it out.
