Default big sandy crappie trip 8/30

are the majority of the paris area crappie still mostly running 9-10 inches? seems we couldnt find any big fish. took my dad and daughter for a short 2.5 hour crankbait trip around the power lines on friday. granted, we probably fished the worst part of the day, 11am-130pm. caught a good amount of fish for the time we were there but all were about the same length. the keepers we caught were no bigger than 10 3/4 inches. caught more fish down there than we generally do on the north end but we can catch bigger fish. i rarely fish down there but went south on a whim. all in all it was a great time even though chip crumbs were all over the floor, kept hearing the boat horn blow, and somehow the steering wheel kept getting turned all the way to one side. fish we caught were in 12-14 fow trolling about 1.7-1.9 mph pulling pico, bandit 300, and a few arkie 220s. next time Ill take some pics.
