Looking to fish the Crappie USA Classic in late October either with Finiman or my wife. Not sure yet if we can make the schedule work. I have never even looked at a map of the lake so I have zero idea of the features. Any GENERAL info by PM will be most welcome.

i too am coming from nc over to oldhickory for the week of the classic with the wife, you can tell mr.dux all your fishing spots, i'm more concerned with good place to stay, eat, and buy bait, not necessarily in that order, the less i have to travel to town the better, you can pm here, or holler at me at the house at 910-571-0218 i appreciate any and all info and would return the favor if you head to nc

Sorry I haven't returned calls guys. We just spent 4 days in Heaven at Grenada and I had zero cell signal most of the time then got my arse (and cell phone) soaked in a storm Saturday.

I was told Old Hickory would remind me a lot of Barkley. According to what I see on the map, I'd better get used to traveling in the channels in low water times, just like big portions of Barkley.

Sorry to hear you didn’t qualify tenncrappie. We will be there for the tourney also. Sure the fish we caught in spring will be on different pattern come fall. Gonna be there all week so hope we can figure them out again cause we caught some nice fish.
