Default Percy Priest and 3 year-old's first TARP.

We asked my 3 year old son what he wanted to do this weekend, he said "Take the boat to the lake and catch fish!" Well, ok, you talked me into it!

We got to our spot around 7:00 and caught 4 keepers pretty quick. One was just barely 14 inches for my kid's first TARP crappie and another was just short of 14. He got his first crappie earlier this year but this was his biggest. Threw two back and lost a decent catfish at the boat too. But a wake boat decided the small cove we were in was the only place on the whole lake to wake board so we went to another cove.

We pulled there for about 45 minutes and got one, by then he was getting hot and bored and tired so we headed home. Total 5 keepers between 12-14 inches. Pico Pink Splatter got a one, Bandit Bruised got one, everything else was on Pico Grenada Green.

And if anyone here was in that blue Triton trolling, I'm really sorry for cutting you off! Trying to steer, land a fish, watch 5 other lines, and navigate a toddler in the boat was one more thing than I could handle. Thanks for being cool about it.Name: 0629190940a_HDR.jpg
