CatchNGrease told me about this a few weeks ago. This is the third time I’ve read it. Still working on detecting bites but your article has helped tremendously. Thank you sir.

Mr DK, I have totally enjoyed your article and read it more than once.
I have at 67 retired, my wife will follow in a few years.
We are single polers just trying to catch fish of any kind from bank most often.
All of your suggestions will be helpful to all fisherman.
I like your line choice of Suffix Hi Vis, though I haven't tried it I've told my my wife that I need a line that I can see and one that won't coil so badly.

Your article will be somewhat of a ":bible" to me that I will read and re-read.
Thank you for all the information.

Thank you for sharing. I am trying to learn to fish jigs more this year. I have always been a minnow/tight line crappie fisherman. Excited for the new challenge

Looks like that boy of yours bit into a crappie. He ought to be smiling like dad! Congrats on addicting another child to fishing! My dad did it to me and sixty years later i'm still playing in the water!

DK I just read your post and I thank you. It seems that I have some of the same thoughts as you. Hopefully I will begin to catch a few also. I love fishing and enjoy catching
