Tremendous article, sir. Single pole fishing is the only way I fish too.

Learned a lot from your article and always read your posts. Thanks.

Thank You, DK for putting on paper what you have been trying to teach my thick head. Thank you Slab for posting it. :ThumbsUP

Nice article DK. Reading this makes me want to go back and read the "Green book again". I dont see it referenced by too many other people. I havent been crappie fishing long, but am really enjoying it when I can make myself quit chasing the green fish. I was having a good crappie season , until about 3 weeks ago. I can find the crappie, I just can no longer get them to bite. 3 hours yesterday only hooked 6. Finally gave up and chased the greenies. Again great article and thanks for taking the time to share it.

Wow, thanks for the post. I'm a new (fulltime) crappie fisherman that grew up fishing with a single rod. With all the succesful trolling posts around here, I've been tempted to try the technique even though it doesn't sit quite right with me. After reading your post I think I'll stick with one jig rod and working on detecting bites. Thanks again for the great read.
