State and World record was broken last year from a private Pond in E TN on the Black Crappie, 5lbs and 7 ounces I think.

I camp there a lot, but haven't fished it in 3 or 4 years. Just like you, I remember them being small. My daughter is wanting to go fish, and we are camping there this weekend. I'm not setup to pull cranks, but I am setup to troll jigs or minnows. Any tips on where to try on that lake this time of year....or how about Browns? Just would like to get her a on a few numbers. She is 9 and has never done anything but single pole.
