Default White bass and small crappie 5/20/19

Dr Phillip had 4 hours to fish this am, so we did a 2 hr white bass fishing trip and a two hour crappie hunt. The Whites played really good with us as we were throwing jigs with a Chartreuse 2.5” plastic Minnow type lure and for the life of me, I can’t remember what they are called, but the bass loved them.

Then, we switched gears and crappie fished for two hours and only caught 6 keepers that went home with me. Phil took a limit of bass home with him. We caught several short crappie and most fish were scraping the bottom.

Bobby Garland Screamers were best crappie color. Water temp was 75.6 and TVA was running 27,000+ cfs at 8 am. we quit before it got too hot. Phil had a noon appointment and I needed to run a couple of errands before my two pm nap. Lolol.

It's a good day when you can catch fish and still be on time for your scheduled nap appointment.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

These fish were deep, up to 25 feet.
