Blue bank resort
Would like to take wife for a weekend getaway. Plan on single pole jig and also cork fish jig. Looks like this month is the time to go. Going to get the fishing package. Never been to reelfoot or blue bank. Anybody got any pros and cons on this lake or resort?

Blue Bank is a beautiful resort with great food. If staying there the guides will help you get on some fish dont be afraid to ask. If your going this month you should be good as soon as you leave the resort dock shut the motor down and start fishing the trees along the shoreline. Should be more fish than you care to mess with along the shoreline for pretty much the rest of the month.

Can never go wrong with Blue Bank. It's my favorite restaurant on the lake. Second would have to the Boat House in Samburg just down the road from Blue Bank.
With the water warming crappie have been shallow and bluegill are also starting to bite. You may have some luck fishign up and down the shoreline near the resort workign around the boat docks, etc. Water temp was in mid 60's last weekend, not sure what this rain/front will do to it but I plan to find out tomorrow. :-)
