Got out early before the winds came. Boards got lots of attention today in 3ft of water or less going at 1.2 ended with 12 keepers.

Boards on flats in the backs of coves has put a bunch of fish in my boat the last few years. We've caught big crappie in less than 2 feet of water running the board Chris used to build or the Off Shore OR-38. It takes a cloudy, rainy day (Pretty much all spring this year) to be able to keep from spooking shallow crappie. My clients love them, they say it's like watching a moving bobber. I run a 1/8 oz jig head with curly tail grubs or a roadrunner type head in 1/8 oz.
