Good catch, boards in less than 3ft? Get hung up in bushes or brush or fishing flats? Kinda different fishing than I am used to.

Boards on flats in the backs of coves has put a bunch of fish in my boat the last few years. We've caught big crappie in less than 2 feet of water running the board Chris used to build or the Off Shore OR-38. It takes a cloudy, rainy day (Pretty much all spring this year) to be able to keep from spooking shallow crappie. My clients love them, they say it's like watching a moving bobber. I run a 1/8 oz jig head with curly tail grubs or a roadrunner type head in 1/8 oz.
